ONE YEAR ON & OVER 200 STOP SMOKING THERAPIES LATER Spain’s first Stop Smoking and addiction centre, appropriately named the ‘Stop Smoking In Spain’ centre has been open for just over a year now. One year on and they have gone from strength to strength and now have a total of three centres along the Costa which have successfully helped over 200 people become free of either nicotine, nicotine replacements (gum/patches), chocolate or tea/coffee, The clinics are in Torrox Costa, La Cala de Mijas, and from November in Gibraltar too. Furthermore, with clients regularly flying in from the UK and The Channel Islands they have just started offering packages to those residents, which include flights, accommodation and car hire plus the all important stop smoking treatment. All this for much less than the cost of the treatment alone in the UK. To cater for the obvious increase in demand, early next year Carol will be purchasing another machine and is therefore in the process of finding further locations. So, with the New Year now approaching it’s that time again to start thinking about NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS. The very best one not only for you but your family, your friends and even those you just sit next to in bars etc is of course to give up smoking. All smokers know of the damage they do to their and others health by smoking cigarettes and of course it is becoming more and more socially unacceptable. Also, even here in Spain where the cost of cigarettes are not really a concern to the average smoker, if you smoke only 20 cigarettes a day you will still spend over one thousand euros a year . That’s a very nice holiday each year or lots of trips back to UK to see those ever supportive family and friends! SO MAKE SURE 2007 IS THE YEAR YOU QUIT SMOKING….. FOR GOOD! **The Stop Smoking therapy is completely safe and harmless and does not involve hypnosis or acupuncture** So what’s in cigarette smoke? There are 4000 chemicals in one cigarette. Here are just a few of them Acetone Ammonia Benzene Cadmium Carbon Monoxide Formaldehyde Lead Nicotine Tar Shellac Hydrogen Cyanide
